Little Florence and Samantha reunited with David Cameron
After four days away from his new baby girl and his wife, David Cameron was missing his girls, admitting he was "miserable" without them.
And the joy on his face was easy to read on Wednesday as he was reunited with Samantha and little Florence, picking them up from Birmingham train station.
David, who has been in the city since Saturday for the Conservative Party Conference, earlier said he couldn't wait to see his new daughter again.
And gazing at her husband as he held their little girl – who was born on August 24 – Samantha looked equally happy to be back at his side. The thirty-nine-year-old was bang on trend in a camel-hued coat paired with a white shirt and dark jeans.
Earlier Mr Cameron told ITV's Daybreak that with Florence back with him he could face a sleepless night ahead of his speech at the conference on Thursday.
"I have obviously had three miserable nights here on my own without baby Florence crying in my ear, and I miss her like mad," he said.
"She is coming today. I am picking Samantha up off the train with baby Florence and I can't wait to see her, because I expect even in three days she has probably changed a bit.
"So I am looking forward to a sleepless night tonight before my big speech"
