Breastfeeding Prevents Baby Infections

Breastfeeding 'prevents baby infections': Babies who are exclusively breastfed from birth to six months are significantly less likely to pick up common infections during their first year of life than babies who are partially breastfed or not breastfed at all. And, say Greek researchers who've been tracking the health of more than 900 babies for 12 months, any infections exclusively breastfed babies do pick up are likely to be less severe.
